2.2 Booking & Session Data

When you use our platform to book sessions with mentors and partners, we collect:

Booking Information: Session dates, times, and duration
Meeting Data: Google Meet links and calendar entries
Survey Responses: Post-session feedback and ratings you provide
Notes: Any session notes or topics you submit

2.3 Expert/Mentor Information

If you register as a mentor or partner, we additionally collect:

Professional Profile: Title, company, bio, expertise tags, and LinkedIn URL
Availability: Your available time slots for sessions
Profile Photo: Uploaded photo for your public profile

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Service Provision: To provide, operate, and maintain our mentor booking platform
Account Management: To create and manage your account and authenticate users
Session Management: To schedule sessions, create Google Meet meetings, and send reminders
Communication: To send booking confirmations, reminders, and survey requests
Service Improvement: To understand usage patterns and improve our service
Security: To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
Legal Compliance: To comply with legal obligations, including accounting law requirements

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following categories of third-party service providers, solely for the purposes described below.

Clerk (Authentication)

Purpose: User authentication, account management, and session handling

Data Shared: Email address, name, login timestamps

Railway (Hosting — EU Region)

Purpose: Cloud hosting infrastructure and database hosting

Data Shared: All application data and user content (stored in EU data centers)

Postmark (Email)

Purpose: Transactional email delivery (confirmations, reminders, surveys)

Data Shared: Email address, name (for personalization)

Google Calendar & Google Meet

Purpose: Creating Google Meet links and calendar events for booked sessions

Data Shared: Session details, participant email addresses

5. Data Storage & Protection

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information:

Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
Authentication: Secure authentication via Clerk
Access Controls: Role-based access controls and principle of least privilege
Infrastructure: Hosted in secure EU data centers (Railway, EU region)

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
